138-History Position Summary Villanova University invites applications for an adjunct teaching position in the History Department for an undergraduate or graduate course. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. Duties and Responsibilities Teaching and related duties will vary with the specific course(s) being taught. Minimum Qualifications Advanced degree in History or a closely related discipline is required and/or experience suitable for course instruction. Preferred Qualifications Previous teaching experience preferred. Special Message to Applicants The Department of History will accept applications throughout the year. When a teaching vacancy arises, we will consider the submitted applications in an effort to staff the course. Salary Posting Information This adjunct position falls within the salary range of $1,160.00 - $2,230.00 per credit/contact hour. The final compensation will be determined with consideration of several factors including the selected candidate's educational qualifications, course type (drill, lab, lecture), course level (undergraduate or graduate), and market benchmarks.
