Pool - Basic Law Enforcement Training Instructor (Part-Time)

F189-18 Announcement Summary This is a continuous recruitment pool not specifically advertised. The pool is continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates. We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings. Duties Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform lecture and conduct practical exercises in accordance with the lesson plans and the course management guide. Supervise BLET students during class and practical exercises. Maintain a positive and professional interpersonal relationship with students, faculty, staff, college administration and other community law enforcement agencies. Conduct NC Criminal Justice Education Training and Standards Commission F-16 Evaluations on fellow instructors as needed. Participate in professional development activities to keep up with innovative practices. Perform other program related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Current General Instructor Certification Maintain certification by completing all NC Criminal Justice Education Training and Standards Commission requirements. Preferred Qualifications Four years law enforcement patrol experience. Special Instructions to
