Master's degree in Library Information Science Valid SCDE licensure with media specialist/librarian endorsement, or a reciprocal license from another state Proven experience with middle and/or high school students in a library or educational setting Strong organizational and communication abilities Skilled in integrating technology, research platforms, and library management systems Collaborative mindset and a passion for supporting diverse learners

Your Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain an engaging, inclusive school library environment that encourages student curiosity and independent learning Guide students and staff in effective research strategies, digital literacy, and responsible use of information Curate print and digital collections to support curriculum goals and student interests Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate library resources into lesson planning Manage library operations, including circulation, cataloging, and inventory Organize events, reading challenges, and technology workshops to engage students school-wide Support students with varying abilities and backgrounds, fostering equitable access to information
