Job Description

The Storm Lake Public Library is accepting applications for a part-time Library Clerk position. This position is scheduled 15-20 hours per week, with shifts that may include days, evenings, and Saturdays. Duties include but are not limited to: Checking library materials in and out Shelving and organizing returned items Answering phones and assisting patrons at the service desk Providing basic reference assistance Assisting with adult and children's library programs Handling cash and performing other clerical tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service and office skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Ability to handle cash transactions Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Library clerical experience and recreational reading interest are a plus Must meet applicable residency requirements Position requires a combination of education and experience How to Apply All applicants must submit the City of Storm Lake online application. !
