Job Description

We are looking for a Circulation Assistant to join the Circulation team at the Bourbonnais Public Library District. As a Circulation Assistant, you will be the welcoming face of the Library. Duties include helping patrons check out materials, creating and updating library cards, answering phones, making copies, sending faxes, and shelving returned materials. Circulation Assistants also help out at the Reference Desk when needed. We are looking for an enthusiastic team member with excellent customer service skills. This position works approximately 10 evening hours weekly, with one Saturday a month.

Hours:

5:00 pm•9:00 pm — Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 am•4:00 pm — 2nd Saturday every month with opportunities to cover extra shifts when needed! Please include a cover letter with your application. No phone calls, please. Applicants must be 18 years of age to apply.

Pay:

$15.00•$18.77 per hour
