Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.
Perform circulation tasks:
check materials in and out, reserve, prepare, organize, and send out overdue notices weekly. 2. Help students and staff locate, retrieve, and use materials. 3. Process new or donated materials. 4. Maintain inventory of library supplies and prepare in-house requisitions or lists of items. 5. Supervise students using the library before school, after school, and during lunch. 7. Assist in annual inventories of materials and equipment. 8. Track inter-library loan requests and materials. 9. Shelve, file, type, create forms and signs, duplicate materials. 10. Maintains organization of library media space. 11. Organizing books for easy accessibility. 12. Work with the technology department to learn and facilitate use of technology for students and staff. Work as an effective member of the Littleton Public Schools staff: 1. Maintain the same level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of all teachers and administrators. 2. Responsible for being prompt and dependable. 3. Establish an effective working relationship with classroom teachers, parents, specialists and administrators. 4. Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal and/or supervising administrator. 5. Participate in staff development programs as assigned.
Evaluation:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the building principal, with input from the supervising administrator.
