Job Description

Job Summary:
Join the Brigham Memorial Library Team! We're a small town Library with big dreams! Help us run the circulation desk, put on programs and assist patrons. You will also help provide extra support during outreach events and help foster a community of readers.
Requirements:
High School Education or Equivalent Be Able to Lift Up to 30lbs Be Able to Push and Pull a Bookcart Weighing up to 80lbs Ability to Utilize Email & Phone Knowledge of Computers, Printers & Google Suite or Microsoft 365
Job Duties:
Displaying a Positive Attitude Toward Patrons Maintain a Consistent Representation of the Library and Its Offerings Assist Patrons with Various Technology Related Needs Utilize the Library's Internal Catalog System, Workflows Process & Request Items from outside the Library System using Wiscat Discharge & Shelve items from our Inter-Library Loan Bins Process the Holds List Periodically Throughout the Day Assistant Patrons with Reference, Historical & Item Requests Keep Shelves, Tables, Playcenters & Circulation Desk Neat and Orderly Attend Monthly Staff Meetings Complete Monthly Trainings Process Collection Items for Cataloging Cataloging Collection Items Plan, Prepare and Run Programs Throughout the Year Complete Weekly, Bi-Weekly & Monthly Cleaning Tasks Know When to Refer Problems to the Director Carryout Any Other Tasks or Projects Assigned by the Director Help Plan, Prepare and Run the Annual Summer Reading Program Assist the Director with
Outreach Events or After Hours Programming Preferred Qualities:
Ability to Plan, Prepare and Run Youth Oriented Programming Knowledge of Patron Point, Local Hop, Canva or other
Marketing Software Previous Library Experience Some College Courses or Associate's Degree Pay:
$13.00 per hour
