Each hire must be able to teach 2 classes (For example: Math & Science, English & History, etc.
). What We're Looking For We're intentionally seeking professors, educators, or college graduates with strong subject knowledge and a passion for their field. A traditional teaching certificate is not required. We welcome applicants with degrees or professional experience in areas such as: Mathematics Science Engineering English History Journalism Communications Liberal Arts Or related fields Retired educators, homeschool educators, adjunct faculty, graduate students, and professionals looking for meaningful part-time work are encouraged to apply.
Position Details:
Monday-Thursday Only
Approximately 6-25 paid hours per week
One-hour duty-free unpaid lunch
Small learning community
Maximum 10-12:1 student-to-teacher ratio
Teach only your assigned subject areas
Curriculum framework and instructional support provided Opportunity to help shape a growing educational model from the ground up Compensation $35-$50 per hour Responsibilities Develop comprehensive course curricula aligned with institutional standards and interdisciplinary research collaboration.
Deliver engaging online instruction using learning management systems such as Blackboard or other educational technology platforms. Design instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments that promote active learning and student engagement in both virtual and hybrid classrooms. Facilitate student mentoring, academic advising, and personalized support to foster student success across diverse cultural backgrounds. Incorporate higher education pedagogy instruction and instructional design principles to enhance teaching effectiveness. Collaborate with faculty colleagues on curriculum development, interdisciplinary projects, and research initiatives. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and participation while ensuring classroom management and discipline are upheld. Engage in scholarly activities such as research, publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals, securing research funding, and contributing to academic research projects. Stay current with advancements in learning technology, higher education trends, and adult learning methodologies to continually improve instructional delivery.
