Livingston NJ Position Type:

Part-Time About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Math Instructor to join our team! In this role, you will work with elementary school students (grades K-5) to help build their foundational math skills, confidence, and enthusiasm for learning. You will deliver structured lessons using our fully provided, set curriculum and step-by-step lesson plans—no lesson planning or curriculum development required! Key Responsibilities Deliver clear and engaging instruction to elementary age students using our set curriculum and pre-designed lesson plans. Maintain a positive, encouragement-based learning environment that keeps young students motivated. Guide students through practice problems, offer constructive feedback, and reinforce core math concepts. Track student progress, attendance, and assignment completion during each session. Communicate effectively with team leads regarding student progress or any extra support needed.

Schedule & Availability Requirements Required Weekday Hours:

Wednesday and Friday from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

Weekend Availability:

Required on Saturdays and/or Sundays (exact shift hours to be determined upon hire). Qualifications Strong foundational math skills (completion of high school algebra or equivalent required). Experience working with elementary-aged children (e.g., tutoring, teaching, camp counseling, or childcare). Ability to follow structured lesson plans consistently and effectively. Excellent communication, patience, and classroom management skills. Punctual, dependable, and passionate about helping young learners succeed.

Pay:

$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 per week
