PT Dual Credit Class Facilitator WRTTC Midland College | Midland, Texas
JOB SUMMARY
Facilitate Dual Credit classrooms and coordinate with MC Instructor of Record. Maintain ISD records for attendance and submit ISD grades on a regular basis. Provide a positive learning environment for dual credit students by affirming college course rigor and expectations on a regular basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Communicate with Midland College Instructor on dual credit students' progress Promote a positive learning environment and affirm college course rigor and expectations on a regular basis Maintain dual credit partner ISD records of student attendance, grades, and follow ISD policy for classroom management Review upcoming assignments with students and monitor student progress based on the assignment calendar Be familiar with Canvas, Turnitin, My MC Portal, MC Email, and navigation of each to be able to assist and support students in becoming self-efficient on these platforms Receive and respond to all Parent/Guardian contact concerning student course work and relay all information to the
MC Instructor, Campus Principal, and WRTTC Director Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent Employable by Midland College and dual credit partner independent school district Experience in supervision of adolescents Ability and willingness to communicate with students and parents
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an academic field Educational environment experience
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Typical office Business Hours M-Th 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. F 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. summer M-Th 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 pm Periodic evening and weekend hours during peak periods (e.g., open enrollment, payroll) Occasional travel (less than 10%) Physical Demands Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation Use of manual dexterity Frequently moves equipment or paperwork weighing up to 30 pounds Salary Range
