Responsibilities Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement engaging activities that promote social skills, creativity, and physical activity Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques Assist children with homework and tutoring in various subjects to support their academic growth Lead youth group activities such as sports, arts and crafts, theater, or outdoor games to foster teamwork and confidence Follow first aid protocols and be prepared to respond to minor injuries or emergencies using CPR or AED when necessary Collaborate with team members to create inclusive programs tailored to diverse needs, including special education considerations Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and behavior updates Experience Prior experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings is highly preferred Demonstrated classroom management skills and ability to supervise multiple children effectively Knowledge of first aid procedures and/or CPR certification Experience facilitating youth development programs or leading recreational activities such as sports coaching or theater is advantageous Background in early childhood education or childhood development enhances your ability to support young learners' growth Previous daycare experience or babysitting roles that involved child supervision and behavior management are valuable assets Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and engage children in outdoor activities confidently Join us in making a meaningful difference by inspiring the next generation!
