programs and services to all High School after-school participants. Plan, develop and implement program activities with particular focus on (1) homework help, tutoring, reading or study skills (2) educational enrichment. Staff will follow and implement program schedule on a daily basis. At HLPUSD High School locations.
Example of Duties:
  • Help children with Homework
  • Develop daily activity plans for enrichment.
  • Plan, Supervise and Facilitate Enrichment Activities
  • Supervise a group of 20 students (High School)
  • Implement discipline techniques and classroom management
  • Ensure all youth are properly supervised and encouraged to participate in activities
  • Record and submit daily attendance records of participants
Condition of Employment and Benefits:
This is a 10 month part-time seasonal, non-benefited, non-exempt position with an hourly rate ranging from $25.00-$27.00 per hour DOE. This position requires the candidate to be available for work Monday to Friday from 2:30-6:00p.m. Staff meetings will be held as needed with advanced notice given to staff.
Minimum qualifications:
High School Diploma and a minimum of 48 College Units Official College Transcripts Health Screening/TB Clearance and COVID vaccination card Background and Fingerprint Clearance Must have some experience in working with youth in an organized setting. First Aid & CPR Certification may be required in the event in-person programming resumes.' '
