The interventionist will work closely with students in various settings, including small groups, large groups, and one-on-one interactions, to address their unique learning needs. This position is integral to fostering a safe and productive learning environment where students can grow. In this role, the interventionist will plan, implement, monitor, and assess instructional programs that align with district goals and the specific needs of students. The interventionist will also assist teachers in data collection and analysis, facilitating discussions to enhance instructional strategies. The ideal candidate will work closely with young learners, providing targeted support to enhance their academic skills and emotional well-being. This role is crucial in fostering a nurturing environment that promotes childhood development and literacy education. The Interventionist will collaborate with educators and families to create tailored intervention plans that meet the unique needs of each child. Duties Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies for students, focusing on literacy education and childhood development. Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for improvement. Collaborate with teachers to design curriculum modifications that support diverse learning needs. Provide direct tutoring and instructional support in both one-on-one and small group settings. Manage conflicts effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment for all students. Communicates with homeroom teachers and site administrators on individual pupil's progress. Identifies pupil needs and cooperates with other professionals to address health, attitude, and learning problems. Requirements VALID Teaching Credential Strong knowledge of literacy education practices and curriculum development techniques. Proficiency in instructional design principles and conflict management strategies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
