About the Role Are you an energetic educator who loves hands-on learning, creative arts, and inspiring young minds? We are looking for dynamic, engaging, and versatile instructors to lead our premier after-school enrichment programs for elementary and transitional kindergarten students. We need adaptable individuals who can foster curiosity, confidence, and teamwork—whether leading young secret agents, aspiring filmmakers, budding scientists, or early readers—while providing a structured, fun, and safe environment! Programs & Descriptions Spy School An action-packed program where students in grades 1-5 step into the shoes of secret agents. Instructors guide students through code-breaking, disguise techniques, gadget-building, and mystery-solving to build STEM skills, problem-solving, and confidence.
Fridays, Sep 18•Dec 18 | 3:30 PM•4:30 PM (Grades 1-5) Crafty Book Club A magical literary adventure designed for our youngest learners (grades TK-K). Instructors bring storybooks to life through read-alouds, interactive movement, and hands-on crafts, helping students create keepsakes while developing early literacy and fine motor skills.
Lucas Valley Elementary:
Wednesdays, Sep 16•Dec 16 | 1:50 PM•2:50 PM (Grades TK-K) CineCraft Kids A hands-on filmmaking course where students in grades 1-5 write scripts, act, direct, and design props across genres like superhero action, sci-fi, and mystery. Instructors direct the creative chaos and guide collaborative teamwork, which is later edited into a final class film.
Glenwood Elementary:
Thursdays, Sep 17•Dec 17 | 3:30 PM•4:30 PM (Grades 1-5) Super Science An interactive STEM program where students in grades 1-5 explore physics, forces, and engineering by building rockets, roller coasters, and hovercrafts. Instructors guide hands-on projects that break down complex concepts into exciting physical experiments.
High-energy, enthusiastic, and able to motivate elementary-aged children after the school day ends.
The Background:
Experience in elementary education, STEM, creative writing, drama, child development, or a related field.

A passion for encouraging curiosity and creative expression while maintaining a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom.
The Soft Skills:
Patience, adaptability, classroom management, and strong communication with students, parents, and school staff. Requirements Minimum 2 years of college education. At least 1 year of experience working with elementary-aged children (Grades TK-5). Ability to confidently manage a classroom of up to 20 students. Must pass background checks and a TB test. Reliable transportation to program locations. Ability to lift and carry program supplies (up to 20 lbs.).
Compensation & Logistics Pay Rate:
$25.00 to $30.00 per hour
