Compensation:
$60-$75 per class (depending on experience) About the Role We're looking for an enthusiastic and dependable
STEM & STEAM
Instructor to lead engaging after-school enrichment classes for elementary students in Sebastopol. This role combines two exciting program tracks that encourage students to explore, build, and discover through hands-on learning.
STEM:
Robotics Introduce students to beginner-friendly robotics through interactive building challenges that develop problem-solving, engineering, and technology skills.
STEAM:
Hands-On Science & Creative Exploration Lead engaging experiments, design challenges, and interactive STEAM projects that spark curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Whether you're an educator, STEM professional, college student, or enrichment instructor, this is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while inspiring the next generation of innovators. Responsibilities Lead engaging STEM and STEAM enrichment classes for elementary students. Facilitate hands-on robotics activities, science experiments, and creative design challenges. Foster curiosity, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. Create a safe, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment. Prepare lesson materials and activity stations before each class. Collaborate with school staff, site coordinators, and the Digital Dreamers team. Maintain clear communication with the program team. Submit brief after-class session reports following each class. Requirements Experience working with elementary-aged students. Comfortable leading hands-on STEM, robotics, or science activities. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Energetic, dependable, organized, and professional. Must maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with the team. Required to submit brief after-class reports following each session. Ability to commit to the program schedule from August through December. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching robotics, STEM, STEAM, science, or enrichment programs. Background in education, engineering, science, technology, or a related field. Experience facilitating project-based or hands-on learning experiences. Compensation & Schedule $60-$75 per class, depending on experience Thursdays 1.5-hour classes August 27 through Mid-December 2026 Consistent weekly schedule
Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
