Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic educational team as an Academic Coach, where your passion for teaching and dedication to student success will truly make a difference. In this role, you will provide personalized academic support, implement engaging curricula, and utilize innovative learning strategies to empower students of diverse backgrounds. Your energy and instructional expertise will inspire learners to reach their full potential across various subjects, including math, science, English language arts, history, Bible and electives. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to shape the future of students while honing/developing your teaching skills in a flexible and supportive environment. Legacy House Hub is a Christian faith based hybrid homeschool program that works with students K-12. Duties Implement individualized academic plans tailored to the students' learning styles and needs, ensuring alignment with Legacy House Hub's standards. Utilize various learning tools and strategies to enhance instructional delivery and track student progress effectively. Provide one-on-one academic coaching that adapts to each student's unique learning styles, fostering confidence and academic growth. Support students with special education needs by applying inclusive teaching strategies and classroom management techniques. Maintain communication with parents, staff, and administration. Qualifications Pass a background check. Passionate about working with all students--neurotypical AND neurodivergent. Willingness to learn and stay teachable Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Ability to manage classroom confidently while maintaining a positive atmosphere. Prior experience in elementary education or preschool environments is a plus but not required. This role is ideal for passionate educators eager to make a meaningful impact through innovative teaching methods and personalized support.
