This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while fostering a fun and educational atmosphere for diverse age groups. Responsibilities Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Lead engaging activities including arts and crafts, sports, theater, outdoor games, and youth group programs to promote development and teamwork Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies Facilitate age-appropriate learning experiences tailored to individual needs, including tutoring or homework assistance when necessary Implement first aid protocols and respond promptly to medical or behavioral emergencies using
CPR, AED
operation, or other first aid procedures Collaborate with team members to plan and execute youth development programs that support social-emotional growth Maintain accurate attendance records, activity logs, and incident reports to ensure compliance with safety standards Foster an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and promotes positive Christian counseling when appropriate Qualifications Prior experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings is highly preferred Demonstrated classroom management skills and ability to supervise children effectively Valid certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and knowledge of first aid protocols (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Background in special education or childhood development is a plus Experience facilitating youth group activities or sports coaching enhances your candidacy Strong communication skills with the ability to engage children through teaching, tutoring, or theater experience Outdoor work experience is beneficial for supervising outdoor activities safely Passion for working with young children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment Join us in creating a dynamic space where children can learn, play, and grow!
