Duties Supervise children during afterschool hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Lead engaging activities such as arts and crafts, sports, outdoor games, and educational projects that promote childhood development Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to foster a respectful and inclusive environment Facilitate youth group activities that encourage teamwork, leadership, and social interaction Provide first aid and respond appropriately to emergencies following established protocols, including CPR and AED operation Support children with special needs by implementing individualized accommodations and collaborating with specialists when necessary Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily activities Skills Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain order while encouraging creativity and independence Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including camp or youth programs Knowledge of first aid procedures, CPR certification, AED operation, and emergency response protocols Familiarity with special education strategies and childhood development principles Ability to supervise children outdoors safely during outdoor work experiences or recreational activities Excellent child supervision skills with a focus on safety and positive engagement Proven team leadership abilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues and support staff Experience facilitating youth group activities or teaching young children in various settings such as tutoring or theater programs Compassionate approach aligned with Christian counseling or similar values when working with diverse youth populations Creative mindset capable of designing fun, educational activities that cater to different learning styles Join us in shaping bright futures!
