We are currently seeking a Middle School Spanish Teacher starting in Fall 2026 at an independent school in Saddle River, NJ.

Middle School Spanish Teacher Responsibilities:

Teach five Spanish courses at various proficiency levels for students in grades 6-9. Develop engaging lesson plans and curricula tailored to the needs and skill levels of individual students. Teach Spanish language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing through a variety of instructional methods. Create opportunities for students to practice conversational Spanish and improve pronunciation and comprehension. Communicate with parents regarding student progress and behavior. Participate in regular professional development activities to stay current with best practices and innovation in language education. Serve as an advisor for a group of students, providing guidance to support their success and development.

Middle School Spanish Teacher Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Education, or related required. Master's degree preferred. Proven written and verbal proficiency in Spanish. 2-3 years of previous middle school teaching experience preferred. No teaching license or credential is required. Strong interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills. Organized, dependable, and eager to contribute to the school community. Willingness to assist with extracurricular and school community activities.

Additional Desired Qualities:

Ability to teach multiple languages preferred. Pay:

$50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
