Responsibilities Support after-school activities, ensuring they are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with developmental goals. Help manage classroom environments through effective behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies. Supervise children during all program activities, ensuring their safety through vigilant child supervision and childcare best practices. Coordinate with staff, volunteers, and parents to communicate program updates and address any concerns promptly. Implement first aid protocols when necessary, including administering CPR or AED operation in emergency situations. Facilitate youth group activities such as arts, sports, outdoor adventures, and educational games to promote teamwork and personal growth. Experience Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is required; camp experience or youth program facilitation is highly valued. Demonstrated leadership skills in team environments with the ability to motivate staff and volunteers effectively. Knowledge of childhood development principles combined with experience in behavior management techniques. Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, AED operation, and relevant safety protocols are essential; ongoing training is encouraged.
