We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Age Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities :

• Provide a nurturing and safe environment for children
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
• Create daily activities for children to participate in as well as provide assistance with school work as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
• Supervise children during outdoor playtime and field trips (summer only)
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior

Experience :

• Understanding of child welfare and the importance of creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Familiarity with special education needs and accommodations
• Experience in physical education or promoting physical activity among young children
• Strong literacy education skills, including reading readiness activities

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, be enrolled in the second year of a two-year career-technical program in child development, or be enrolled in a college credit program in ECE or child development
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Patience, creativity, and adaptability in working with young children
