After School Program Staff help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where school-age youth can learn, build relationships, participate in enrichment activities, and develop important academic and life skills. Responsibilities Supervise and actively engage students during after-school programming Lead or assist with academic support, enrichment activities, recreation, and group projects Build positive and supportive relationships with youth Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive program environment Assist with attendance, transitions, snacks/meals, and daily program routines Model positive behavior, communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution Communicate effectively with coworkers, students, and families Follow organizational policies, safety procedures, and program requirements Participate in meetings, professional development, and required training Qualifications Experience working with children or youth preferred Education or coursework in education, youth development, social work, recreation, or a related field is a plus Ability to be patient, dependable, flexible, and actively engaged with youth Strong communication and teamwork skills Must be able to pass all required background checks Must be willing and able to complete all training required for the position If you enjoy mentoring young people and helping them succeed in a positive, supportive environment, we encourage you to apply.
