Job Description

We are currently seeking a part time after school teacher who wants to be a part of creating a fun and safe experience for children and be an encouraging voice to families. POSITION SUMMARY

Drive a minibus to pick up children at local elementary schools and transport them to our center Provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children after school Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers

Hours:

Monday through Friday 1:00pm-5:30pm

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be "Teacher Qualified" according to Oregon's Rules for Certified Child Care Centers by having attained ONE of the following: At least 1 year full-time experience elementary aged children OR An Associate Degree in early childhood education or a related field OR At least a step 6 in the Oregon Registry Online (ORO) OR CDA credential Physical Requirements These physical requirements must be met in order to successfully perform this teaching job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to: Walk on a frequent basis. Stand or sit for long periods of time. Lift 25 pounds on a regular basis and 50 pounds in case of an emergency. Drive a minibus daily
