Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 3:00-7:00 p.m.; Friday, 2:00-6:00 p.m. Do you have a natural ability to connect with children? Are you energetic, dependable, and comfortable leading a group? All-Star Academy is looking for an enthusiastic After-School Activities Leader to help create a fun, active, and positive experience for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. You do not need to be a sports coach. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, can confidently lead a group, and wants to make a meaningful difference in children's lives. Position:
All-Star Academy provides children with a physically active, screen-free after-school experience that helps them develop confidence, discipline, respect, and important social skills. In this role, you will help pick up children from their elementary schools in our academy vehicles, safely transport them to our facility, and lead a variety of activities that keep them active, engaged, and smiling.
Activities may include:
Group games and challenges Sports and movement drills Arts and crafts Snack-time supervision Confidence-building activities Coordination, balance, and gross-motor activities Other fun, structured activities for children This position may also transition into a summer camp position for the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead games, activities, and physical drills for children ages 5-11. Keep children active, engaged, and having fun without relying on screens. Lead fun movement games and drills for ages 3 and 4 during our Early Skillz classes. These activities are designed to develop coordination, balance, gross-motor skills, and listening skills. Create a positive, encouraging, and engaging environment in which children feel included and supported. Confidently lead and manage groups of children. Supervise children during activities, transitions, and snack time. Communicate clearly and respectfully with children and other team members. Maintain a high level of professionalism, reliability, and punctuality. Help transport after-school students from their elementary schools to our academy using our vehicles. Who Would Be a Great Fit? Qualifications:
Previous experience working with groups of children in a setting such as an after-school program, school, childcare center, summer camp, recreation program, sports program, dance studio, gymnastics program, martial arts school, or similar environment Ability to confidently lead and manage groups of children High energy and enthusiasm to keep young children engaged Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, responsibility, and professionalism Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Availability to work the complete schedule every weekday :
Monday-Thursday:
3:00-7:00 p.m.
Friday:
2:00-6:00 p.m. Experience in sports, dance, martial arts, gymnastics, recreation, or similar physical activities is highly valued—but it is not required .
