• Thursday, 10 am to 2 pm teaching role with a strong emphasis on foundational skills rather than a full traditional curriculum.

Curriculum includes:

Reading

• OGOA Intermediate Writing
• Writing Adventure Math
• Perceptions You will be supported by an assistant teacher, allowing you to focus on instruction and student growth.

General Requirements and Responsibilities:

A passion for education and literacy Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent experience Experience working with students with learning differences (preferred) Strong classroom management and organizational skills Positive, patient, and flexible mindset Create lesson plans, monitor and record student progress data Develop a trusting relationship with students, parents, and peers Completion of Structured Literacy coursework or willingness to complete OG coursework Complete required criminal background check, child abuse registry check, and FBI fingerprinting (cost covered by SOAR) Be eligible to work in the
