Job Description

Seeking a caring educator for our remarkable students!

At Laraway, we know that autistic students and children with complex needs shine in extraordinary ways. Our school is a place where they are understood, supported, and celebrated. If that resonates with you, you may be exactly who we're hoping to welcome!

We're looking for an Elementary Teacher who is passionate about working with small groups and individual learners with unique abilities, collaborating closely with special educators and behavioral support staff, and creating a safe, engaging, trauma‑informed classroom.

In this role, you will:
  • Design and deliver engaging, standards‑aligned lessons tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, clinicians, and behavior interventionists to support student growth
  • Implement positive behavior supports and therapeutic, relationship‑based approaches
  • Track and communicate student progress through data, assessments, and team collaboration
  • Participate in school programs, professional development, and family‑centered care planning
    Why Laraway?

This work is challenging—and deeply meaningful. We value our team and offer comprehensive benefits, including generous health (and other) insurance, paid time off, leave options, an employee assistance program, retirement, and so much more!

If you're ready to make a real difference in the lives of incredible students, we'd love to hear from you. This position could begin immediately, or we can wait for the right person if you're nearing the end of a contract.
