After-School Instructor — Mini Med School Kodely is hiring an enthusiastic, reliable instructor to lead an after-school Mini Med School program for elementary students in Mercer Island, Washington.

September 18, 2026 What You'll Do Lead engaging, hands-on medical science activities for elementary-aged students. Follow Kodely's provided curriculum and lesson plans. Create a fun, structured, and welcoming classroom environment. Guide students through age-appropriate lessons about the human body, health, science, and medicine. Manage classroom transitions, attendance, and student engagement. Communicate professionally with Kodely and school staff. Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who is: Reliable and comfortable working with elementary-aged students. Enthusiastic about science, medicine, or STEM education. Comfortable leading a classroom independently. Engaging, patient, organized, and energetic. Able to consistently commit to the full program schedule. Teaching or youth-program experience is preferred, but we are open to candidates with strong subject-matter knowledge and a passion for working with children. Important This is an on-site, part-time after-school position . Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Island Park Elementary in Mercer Island, WA for the scheduled class time. Kodely provides the curriculum and program materials — you bring the enthusiasm, classroom leadership, and commitment to helping students learn.

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
