We are currently seeking a Middle School Spanish Teacher starting in Fall 2026 at an independent school in Jackson, WY.
Middle School Spanish Teacher Responsibilities:
Teach four Spanish courses at various proficiency levels for middle school students. Develop engaging lesson plans and curricula tailored to the needs and skill levels of individual students. Teach Spanish language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing through a variety of instructional methods. Communicate with parents regarding student progress and behavior. Participate in regular professional development activities to stay current with best practices and innovation in language education. Assist with supervising extracurricular activities and/or coaching school athletic teams. Serve as an advisor for a group of students, providing guidance to support their success and development.
Middle School Spanish Teacher Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Education, or related required. Master's degree preferred. Proven written and verbal proficiency in Spanish. 2-3 years of previous teaching experience. No teaching license or credential is required. Strong interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills. Organized, dependable, and eager to contribute to the school community. Willingness to assist with extracurricular and school community activities. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
