Membership & Inventory Management Intern Description:

Join us for a hands on creative opportunity in our museum dedicated to photography. Work with artists, images and our day-to-day operations. The Griffin Museum of Photography seeks an onsite intern in Membership and Inventory Management. We are currently interviewing for Fall 2026. Document permanent collection books into the museum inventory. Enter new retail shop inventory and merchandise details. Conduct archive research to support collection documentation. Utilize proper museum handling techniques for archive materials. Provide customer service and answer questions for patrons. Handle cash and card transactions using the POS system. Restock shelves and design appealing product displays. Input new member data and send out digital cards. Assist with mailings, renewals, and membermunications. Handle general office tasks like filing, scanning, and data entry. Provide administrative or check-in support for museum programs and artwork deliveries.

Qualifications:

This internship is available as an in-person position. Please specify your availability in your application. The Griffin Museum requires a ten hour per weekmitment for all internships and ask that internships last a minimum of 10-12 weeks. These opportunities are unpaid, but are available for credit. A transportation stipend is available formuting to and from the museum.
