Vetro Glassblowing Studio and Fine Art Gallery is a family-owned business established in Grapevine for 20+ years with a positive learning environment that welcomes new outlooks! We are looking for a Gallery Assistant. Flexible part-time schedule with hours between: Tuesday - Saturday 9:00am - 7:00pm. Primary hours will be Thursday-Saturday. Occasional Mondays during the holiday season. Gallery Assistants are responsible for maintaining the standards of the gallery, welcoming all customers to the gallery and the studio, and connecting with customers to provide them with the best experience as they purchase one of a kind art glass. Must be detail oriented, personable, open to new experiences, and comfortable in a fast paced environment. Retail experience is preferred Must be able to lift 30lbs, climb ladders, squat, and sit on floor, must also be able to be in a warm environment (you would mostly be in the gallery which is kept at 75-80 degrees, but you might need to be in the studio on occasion which is kept at 80-100 degrees). Please note that this position is seasonal and will not continue after the new year.
