Job Summary Job Summary Under the supervision of the Director of Special Education, the Adapted Physical Education teacher will support students and work collaboratively and independently with all constituents in a diverse environment committed to equity and students' social emotional wellness. They will provide adapted physical education services (direct and/or consult), including assessments, program development and direct instruction to students enrolled in Culver City Unified School District (CCUSD). QUALIFICATIONS A
valid teaching credential authorizing teaching Adaptive Physical Education at the secondary level. CLAD/English Language Learner certification or equivalent is required. Will provide Adaptive PE services to all sites of the Culver City Unified School District, grade levels TK - 12. Must have use of a vehicle to visit from site to site and possibly transport equipment/materials. Secondary sites have a PE room.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
All employment offers are conditional, based upon the successful completion of the following: Fingerprint/background clearance and a tuberculosis clearance. A physical examination clearance is required for certain positions for the district. All candidates with a record of convictions must indicate such on the confidential/legal section of the application, which is attached to the job application. A record of conviction will not automatically disqualify an applicant from employment, but a failure to list all convictions may result in disqualification or dismissal. Copy of Transcript (Unofficial are accepted, if selected then official sealed transcripts will need to be provided.) Credential Copy Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three letters written within the last two years) Resume Test Results/Materials (CBEST, CSET, Praxis, etc.) Requirements / Qualifications
