Adapted PE teacher Carolina School Services - 5.0 Charlotte, NC Job Details Part-time | Full-time 14 hours ago Benefits Travel reimbursement Mileage reimbursement Qualifications Teaching Certification Adaptive Physical Education Full Job Description Join Carolina School Services Carolina School Services is seeking a passionate and dedicated Adapted Physical Education (APE) Teacher to provide high-quality, individualized physical education services to students with disabilities throughout the Charlotte area. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students improve motor skills, physical fitness, confidence, and participation in school activities. Responsibilities Conduct Adapted Physical Education evaluations and assessments. Develop and implement individualized APE programs aligned with IEP goals. Provide direct APE services to students in school and community settings. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, school staff, and families. Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions. Adapt equipment, activities, and environments to support student success. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Education, Adapted Physical Education, or a related field. Valid North Carolina teaching license with Adapted Physical Education certification or eligibility. Experience working with children with disabilities in school or pediatric settings is preferred.
