Mesquite West Campus Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our team at Legacy Preparatory - Mesquite West Campus. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness and health, and the ability to inspire students to develop the same.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a curriculum and lesson plans that will foster knowledge and skills necessary for students to maintain a healthy lifestyle. 2. Engage students in physical activities, including but not limited to, team and individual sports, fitness exercises, and health education. 3. Assess student progress and adapt programs as needed. 4. Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment for all students. 5. Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to maximize student learning. 7. Stay updated on latest health and fitness trends to enhance the quality of physical education classes.

Skills:

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 2. Strong knowledge of physical fitness, sports, and health education. 3. Ability to motivate and engage students in physical education activities. 4. Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff. 5. Ability to adapt and revise lesson plans based on student needs.

Certifications:

Applicants must hold a valid Texas Educator certification in Physical Education.
