Biochemistry, Chemistry, Engineering, Geography, Geology, and Physics feature extensive experiments and opportunities to participate in research and practical projects. Please see our web page for more information https://www.commonwealthu.edu/offices-directory/physical-and-environmental-sciences Duties Applicants will indicate their interest to teach in the following Physics or Engineering teaching categories: (Please pick at least one area) A) General Education lectures B) Introductory Physics (algebra-based) lectures and/or labs for STEM and related majors C) General Physics (calculus-based) lectures and/or labs for STEM and related majors D) Discipline-specific (200-level and above) Physics Lectures and/or Labs, Digital or Analog Electronics Lectures and/or Labs. Other specialty areas may be self-identified by the applicant. In addition, please indicate the campus or campuses at which you are interested in teaching. Commonwealth University has campuses in Bloomsburg, Lock Haven, and Mansfield. The location for these temporary positions varies with the expectation of serving a multi-campus University within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. Qualifying Experience and Education (Minimum/Preferred) Minimum Requirements Candidates must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in Physics or Engineering, or a related field.

Prior experience teaching physics or electronics in the indicated categories and a demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.
