Position Responsibilities Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion. Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program. Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies. Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities. Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or early childhood coursework preferred 1-3 years of experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or youth program setting Some experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred Familiarity with before- and after-school program environments a plus Knowledge of state childcare licensing or school-age care regulations helpful but not required Calm, flexible, and resourceful in a fast-paced environment. Able to pass required background and fingerprint clearances.
