Our play-based curriculum emphasizes observation, hands-on learning, and foundational skills essential for young learners. Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Director to lead our dynamic learning community. This leadership role involves overseeing daily operations, guiding educational excellence, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with educational standards. The ideal candidate will be passionate about childhood development and possess a strong background in early childhood education administration. We are a small family run preschool with under 60 children and 8 staff members. Duties Provide strategic leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality preschool education aligned with best practices in early childhood development. Develop and implement innovative curriculum plans that promote critical thinking, creativity, and social-emotional growth. Manage school operations including budgeting, resource allocation, and administrative tasks to maintain a smooth-running center. Lead staff recruitment, supervision, professional development facilitation, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and effective team. Oversee compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to early childhood education and school legal requirements. Coordinate fundraising efforts and community engagement initiatives to support the center's growth and sustainability. Facilitate faculty evaluation processes and instructional leadership to uphold teaching excellence across all classrooms. Skills Extensive experience in school administration with a focus on early childhood or preschool settings. Strong knowledge of curriculum development tailored for K-12 or early childhood education environments. Proven management skills including personnel supervision, team leadership, and strategic planning. Expertise in budgeting, managing financial resources as an education administrator, and fundraising activities. Deep understanding of educational compliance laws such as special education law and childhood development standards. Excellent communication skills for public speaking, and staff collaboration. Ability to lead professional development initiatives that enhance instructional quality and staff growth. Familiarity with school legal frameworks, instructional leadership practices, and managing school operations efficiently. Pay:
