Benefits Options Paid time off No nights or weekends Holiday schedule Tuition remission discount Professional development assistance Director Duties and Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the preschool program Ensure compliance with all state licensing and safety regulations Lead, mentor, and support preschool teaching staff Create and maintain a positive, nurturing educational environment for young children Develop and oversee implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum Monitor student progress and support individualized learning plans Maintain accurate student records, including attendance and developmental progress Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with parents and families Conduct staff evaluations and support ongoing professional development Manage classroom ratios, scheduling, and staffing needs Utilize technology for communication, record-keeping, and program support

Qualifications Required:

Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential (fully licensed) Minimum of 3 years of experience working with preschool-aged children (ages 2-5), including leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong understanding of early childhood education standards and licensing requirements Excellent communication and leadership skills with both children and adults Patient, organized, nurturing, and energetic Ability to build lasting relationships with staff, students, and families Computer proficiency, including managing online systems and classroom communications Passionate about early childhood education and child development Valid driver's license and reliable transportation High school diploma (Associate's or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred) Background screening via the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse is required: https://info.flclearinghouse.com
