Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Director to lead our early childhood education center with enthusiasm and dedication. Duties Manage daily center operations, including staff scheduling, classroom oversight, and compliance with licensing regulations Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development of childcare staff Implement age-appropriate curriculum focused on childhood development, preschool education, and social-emotional learning Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and mandated reporting laws Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior management strategies, and center activities Maintain accurate records related to child attendance, health information, incident reports, and licensing documentation Foster a positive team environment that promotes classroom management excellence and behavior guidance strategies Requirements Directors Credential; Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings; daycare center experience preferred Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and classroom management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR; pediatric first aid certification is Required Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Ability to supervise child supervision activities while ensuring safety at all times Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child abuse or neglect Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing staff in a childcare environment Familiarity with childhood development instruction, toddler care, infant care, and preschool curriculum planning Experience working with students of various ages including infants through preschoolers; nannying or babysitting experience is beneficial Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities, behavior management plans, and compliance documentation Join us in shaping the future by providing a safe, nurturing space where young children can learn, grow, and thrive!
