Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Preschool to lead and oversee the development, administration, and strategic growth of our early childhood education program. This pivotal role involves guiding a dedicated team of educators, ensuring compliance with educational regulations, and fostering an enriching environment that promotes childhood development and learning excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for early childhood education, strong leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of preschool operations to create a vibrant, nurturing, and innovative preschool community. Responsibilities Provide visionary leadership to the preschool staff, including supervision, mentoring, and professional development facilitation in early childhood education practices. Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum aligned with best practices in childhood development and educational standards. Oversee daily operations, including enrollment management, staff scheduling, and classroom oversight to ensure a high-quality learning environment. Manage budgets effectively as an executive education administrator, ensuring financial sustainability while supporting program growth initiatives. Lead strategic planning efforts to expand program offerings, improve educational quality, and enhance community engagement. Ensure compliance with all relevant educational laws, regulations, and accreditation standards related to early childhood education and preschool programs. Coordinate fundraising activities and community outreach efforts to support program development and resource acquisition. Conduct faculty evaluation processes, including classroom observations and performance reviews, to maintain high instructional standards. Facilitate school-wide meetings, staff training sessions, and parent engagement events to foster a collaborative school culture. Stay informed on developments in childhood education law, special education law as it pertains to young learners, and best practices in instructional leadership. Experience Proven experience in school administrative leadership roles within preschool or early childhood education settings. Extensive background in curriculum development tailored for early learners across diverse developmental stages. Demonstrated success in managing budgets, fundraising initiatives, and strategic planning at an executive level within educational institutions. Strong management skills with experience supervising school staff, faculty evaluation, and personnel management in educational environments. In-depth knowledge of educational compliance regulations specific to preschool programs and familiarity with childhood development principles. Prior classroom teaching experience with young children is highly desirable to inform instructional leadership decisions. Excellent public speaking skills for engaging with parents, staff, community partners, and stakeholders effectively. Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
