Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Daycare Director to lead our early childhood education center with enthusiasm and dedication. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children, and foster strong relationships with families and staff. Your leadership will inspire a team committed to providing exceptional care and developmental support for young learners. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and possesses a deep understanding of early childhood education principles, along with experience managing a childcare facility. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while guiding a dedicated team of caregivers and educators. Duties Manage daily center operations, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and safety standards Lead, mentor, and support staff in delivering high-quality childcare and early childhood education Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote childhood development and learning Maintain open communication with parents, addressing concerns and providing updates on their children's progress Oversee child supervision to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior management throughout the day Coordinate staff schedules, training sessions (including first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid), and performance evaluations Ensure all staff are trained in mandated reporting laws, classroom management techniques, and inclusive practices for children with disabilities Skills Strong knowledge of early childhood education, child development instruction, and classroom management strategies Experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs Proficiency in child supervision, behavior management, and caregiving techniques to foster a nurturing environment Excellent parent communication skills to build trust and maintain positive relationships with families Familiarity with daycare center operations, licensing requirements, health & safety protocols, including first aid and CPR certifications Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and protection Join us in creating an inspiring environment where children thrive through engaging activities, compassionate caregiving, and innovative early childhood education. Pay:
$45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
