For our Assistant Director position, we are looking for a highly driven and committed individual who wants to make a difference in the lives of young children and their families, while helping to effectively and efficiently support all daily operations. Some of the exciting things that you will do as an Assistant Director include, but are not limited to: Support the Director with the managing day-to-day operations and administrative duties Assist teachers with weekly development and execution of curriculum and program activities Conduct specialized phone and in-center tours for prospective parents; and enroll new families Build strong relationships with families/children while handling any parental concerns/questions Ensure our Little Learners assessments are implemented, and appropriate practices are in place Ensure licensing standards are met while assisting in the accreditation process for the center Provide classroom coverage when necessary and ensure a safe environment for the children Assume Center Director responsibilities in the Director's absence Qualifications for our Assistant Directors include: Experience as an Assistant Director or leadership role in a childcare center is highly preferred Prior experience as a Lead Teacher with strong classroom management skills CDA or Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development related field CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain/re-certify Meet background check requirements with fingerprint clearance Dependable and flexible self-starter with a strong work ethic Positive attitude with excellent verbal and written communication Strong leadership with organizational, planning and problem-solving skills Computer proficiency with the ability to learn internal software programs Excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines If you have a great passion for working with children and want to make a profound difference in the lives of our children, families and staff, then we want to speak with you!
