Join Our Team as a Rowe Health Center Practice Director! Are you passionate about leading healthcare operations and dedicated to creating a collaborative, patient-centered environment? Cottage Hospital is seeking an experienced Practice Director for the Rowe Health Center (RHC) to oversee daily administrative and financial activities and drive excellence in care delivery.
JOB SUMMARY
The RHC Director provides administrative and financial oversight of the daily operations in the Rural Health Clinic to ensure a quality program. The RHC Director will evaluate the clinic's total operation including the overall organization, administration, policies and procedures covering personnel, fiscal and patient care areas annually. The RHC Director is responsible for completion and analysis of monthly financial reports, cost report information gathering, prepare proposed annual budget, maintain delegation of work and staffing schedule, compliance with Federal and State regulations, organize regular office meetings and set agendas. The RHC Director will build a collaborative work environment that actively meets the needs of patients, providers and support staff while focusing on a cohesive, interdisciplinary approach in patient care delivery. The RHC Director will participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of RHC services, establish and maintain quality control standards and also actively survey the clinic's needs; address deficiencies in operation and staff in a timely manner.
Additional responsibilities include:
EHR super-user, patient advocate, training of staff, maintain appropriate supplies, and complete timekeeping/payroll functions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs and coordinates activities of department/service line. Drives performance improvement in all departments supervised. Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives. Creative scheduling to meet the needs of the community. Participates in community activities. Promotes and has departmental presence in the greater community. Collaborates/communicates up and down the organization. Integrates trends in healthcare and service line to forecast departmental and institutional needs. Recruits and retains talented employees. Bachelors or better in Health Administration or related field.
