Requirements Bachelor's degree including, or in addition to, 12 credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field OR New York State Children's Program Administrator Credential OR associate's degree in early childhood or related field with a plan of study leading to: •a bachelor's degree, or •a New York State Program PLUS 1 year full-time teaching experience in a child day care center, family or group family day care home or other early childhood program AND 1 year of experience supervising staff in a childcare program or a related field of work Benefits & Perks Full benefits: Medical, dental, vision after 30 days Bonus potential up to 10% of salary; based on meeting enrollment and profitability goals Childcare benefit - 50%, pay max amt of $120 per week Unlimited / flexible time off 401k with company match Rise 365 training & development program for our center directors! - We invest in your growth! Job Summary The Center Director plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our childcare centers by providing flexible, responsive support across various center functions. This position involves assisting with daily center activities, supporting staff and families, and helping maintain a safe, engaging environment for children. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the well-being and development of children while supporting the overall success of our centers. Responsibilities Support center staff with daily operations, including classroom activities and administrative tasks Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment that promotes learning and development Engage positively with children, families, and team members to foster a welcoming atmosphere Help coordinate activities, events, and transitions throughout the day to ensure smooth flow Support compliance with licensing regulations, safety standards, and company policies Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's day-to-day experiences Participate in ongoing training and team meetings to stay aligned with best practices Skills Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, families, and team members Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities within a busy childcare setting Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for early childhood education and development Excellent organizational skills to support multiple tasks simultaneously Knowledge of safety protocols and basic child development principles (preferred) Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to support center operations Join us as a Center Director and become part of a passionate team dedicated to enriching lives through quality early childhood education!
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
