Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated staff as onsite supervisor in a Group Family Daycare. You should be able to lead and manage a vibrant early childhood education environment. In this role, you will oversee daily operations of a licensed daycare group, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating setting for young children. Your leadership will foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff while maintaining compliance with licensing regulations and best practices in early childhood development. Duties Supervise daily activities within the daycare group, ensuring all children are engaged in age-appropriate learning and play experiences Lead and support a team of childcare providers, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment Ensure all staff adhere to health, safety, and licensing standards, including first aid, CPR, and mandated reporting laws Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on children's progress, behavior, and well-being Implement child development instruction strategies that promote social-emotional growth, cognitive skills, and physical development Conduct classroom management to maintain a positive, respectful atmosphere conducive to learning and caregiving Oversee child supervision at all times, ensuring safety protocols are followed during indoor activities, outdoor play, meals, and naps Qualifications Prior experience working with children in toddler, daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques Good communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment for children Demonstrated ability to manage behavior management strategies and caregiving routines Join us as a Group Family Daycare Site Supervisor where your passion for early childhood education meets impactful leadership!
