Overview We are seeking a responsible, experienced, and dependable Childcare Center Director to oversee the daily operations of our childcare center. The Director will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and organized learning environment while maintaining compliance with Pennsylvania childcare licensing regulations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can effectively manage staff, communicate with families, support teachers, handle administrative responsibilities, and ensure the center operates smoothly each day. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is organized, professional, dependable, and passionate about early childhood education. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the childcare center Ensure compliance with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) childcare regulations and center policies Supervise, support, and evaluate teaching staff Manage staff schedules, classroom coverage, attendance, and daily staffing needs Ensure appropriate staff-to-child ratios are maintained at all times Monitor classroom to ensure children are safe, supervised, and receiving quality care Support teachers with classroom management, curriculum, activities, and daily routines Maintain accurate staff and child records and ensure required documentation is completed Perform other duties necessary to maintain a successful daily operation Prepare the center for licensing visits, inspections, and quality assessments Requirements Previous childcare/early childhood education experience Knowledge of Pennsylvania childcare licensing regulations preferred Must be willing to complete all required Pennsylvania background clearances and health requirements Must be comfortable communicating with parents, staff, and licensing representatives Must be able to maintain accurate records and documentation Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Professional, dependable, and punctual Join us as a Program Director if you're eager to lead transformative initiatives that uplift communities through innovative programming and dedicated collaboration!

Pay:

$30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
