Join Our Ministry of Caring for Children! We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and faith-filled Daycare Director to lead our Christian childcare center. Position Summary The Daycare Director is responsible for the overall operation of the childcare center, ensuring compliance with all Pennsylvania state childcare regulations while providing exceptional leadership to staff and fostering strong relationships with children, families, and the community. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the childcare center. Lead, mentor, and support teachers and staff. Ensure compliance with all Pennsylvania childcare licensing regulations and health and safety standards. Develop and maintain a positive, Christ-centered culture throughout the center. Build strong relationships with children, families, church members, and the community. Manage enrollment, scheduling, staff development, and recordkeeping. Coordinate curriculum that supports children's spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and academic growth. Maintain budgets, purchasing, and administrative responsibilities. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and center activities. Plan and oversee special events, family engagement opportunities, and faith-based celebrations. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field (preferred). Meets Pennsylvania Director qualifications for licensed childcare centers. Previous experience in childcare leadership or management. Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania childcare licensing regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to inspire, encourage, and lead a team with integrity and compassion. A personal commitment to the Christian faith and a desire to model Christ's love in daily interactions.
