Company Description Our Buddy's Place is a community-focused childcare center dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. The center emphasizes age-appropriate learning, social development, and play-based activities that support each child's growth. Families are encouraged to partner with the center through open communication and shared goals for their children. Staff members work collaboratively to maintain high standards of care, professionalism, and respect for all children and families. Role Description The Childcare Center Director is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the center, ensuring a safe, supportive, and compliant environment for children and staff. This full-time, on-site role in Scottdale, PA includes supervising and coaching staff, managing schedules, and maintaining adherence to state regulations and center policies. The Director will collaborate with families, handle enrollment and billing inquiries, and address questions or concerns with a focus on customer service. Additional responsibilities include developing educational programs, monitoring classroom quality, managing budgets and resources, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. The Director will also lead continuous improvement efforts, organize staff training, and represent the center within the local community. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Childcare and Early Childhood Development. Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills. Candidates should possess skills and experience related to Education and curriculum planning. Experience in childcare center leadership or management, including staff supervision and scheduling. Knowledge of state childcare licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities. Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, staff, and community partners. Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Pay:
$45,512.43 - $54,810.66 per year
