Before and After School Site Director for Champions located at Jackson Primary Elementary at 2500 Newberry street, Williamsport, PA 17701 The program operates Monday through Friday, with hours from 6:30 AM - 8:50 AM // 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM, totaling 32 hours per week. You will have admin time outside of program hours as well. This includes time allocated for lesson planning, parent communication, and other related tasks. What You'll Do This role allows you to make a meaningful impact during critical out-of-school hours.
You will:
Lead and supervise a group of teachers to create unique and engaging classroom experiences, leverage and develop "best in class" educators to be passionate and committed professionals Ensure your site is operating effectively; maintain licensing, safety, and educational standards Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, school and district leaders, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners Lead recruitment and enrollment efforts of new families and children in our sites What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a team environment, brings enthusiasm to their work, and has: High School Diploma or equivalent Must meet one of these requirements (A, B, C, or D) A) A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field or B) OR A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human or services field and 1 year of experience with children C) OR An associate's degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children or D) OR An associate's degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children. A solid understanding of child development and educational best practices. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
