In this dynamic leadership role, you will oversee the daily operations of a bustling child care center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for young learners. Your strategic vision and management expertise will foster a collaborative team atmosphere, promote educational excellence, and uphold compliance with all licensing and legal standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape early childhood experiences while leading a dedicated team committed to fostering growth, curiosity, and joy in every child. Duties Lead the development and implementation of engaging curriculum plans that support early childhood development and learning standards. Manage all aspects of center operations, including staffing, budgeting, and facility maintenance, to ensure smooth daily functioning. Supervise teaching staff through performance evaluations, coaching, and ongoing professional development to maintain high instructional quality. Oversee personnel management activities such as hiring, training, scheduling, and personnel evaluations in accordance with employment laws and best practices. Develop and execute strategic plans for program growth, community engagement, and fundraising initiatives to enhance center sustainability. Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, and special education laws to provide a secure environment for children and staff. Collaborate with families to support children's individual needs, including working within special education law frameworks when necessary. Lead public speaking engagements and community outreach efforts to promote the center's mission and programs. Qualifications Proven experience in school administrative leadership or as a school legal knowledge expert within early childhood or K-12 education settings. Demonstrated success in curriculum development, instructional leadership in education, and managing educational programs at a senior management level. Strong background in managing budgets as an executive education administrator along with experience in fundraising and strategic planning. Extensive supervisory experience with personnel management in education environments; familiar with faculty evaluation processes. Knowledge of classroom instruction techniques combined with hands-on classroom experience working directly with young children. Familiarity with school legal requirements including special education law and health & safety regulations applicable to child care centers. Excellent public speaking skills coupled with leadership qualities that motivate teams and engage communities effectively.
