Monday-Friday School Year Hours:
1:00 PM - 6:30
PM Summer Hours:
Varied shifts (7:00 AM-1:00 PM and/or 12:00 PM-6:00 PM) No weekends required About Us Kids Place, Inc. is a non-profit after-school program with 15 locations across Knox and Sevier Counties. We're more than a daycare—we build community. Our programs are built around fun, creativity, safety , and a commitment to helping every child grow. We're currently hiring two full-time Site Directors who are ready to lead with heart, organization, and vision. What You'll Do As a Site Director, you'll be the leader of one of our program locations.
Responsibilities include:
Leading, training, and supporting your site's staff team Managing daily program operations including attendance, billing, and scheduling Building strong relationships with students, families, and school partners Implementing our provided curriculum with creativity and energy Ensuring safety and compliance with licensing regulations Handling challenging behaviors and situations professionally Attending monthly director meetings and completing annual trainings What We're Looking For At least 21 years old with 3+ years of experience in childcare or education Willing to pursue (or currently hold) a CDA or Associate Degree in a related field Experience in leadership or team management Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for kids Basic computer and administrative skills Willingness to become CPR/First Aid certified and meet licensing requirements Able to relocate to Knoxville, TN 37920 area before starting Key Traits for Success Dependable and self-motivated Creative and organized Positive and flexible Passionate about working with children Committed to teamwork and community impact Benefits 401(k) with employer match Health, dental, and vision insurance Childcare benefits Paid time off and 13 paid holidays (including winter break) Supportive, family-like team culture
